The Texas 1000 Project is looking for a talented Grant Writer with expertise in small business technical assistance and entrepreneurship programs to join our mission of empowering entrepreneurs and creating sustainable businesses across Texas.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in writing successful grant proposals for small business support, technical assistance, and capacity-building programs.

Familiarity with state, federal, and private grant opportunities related to entrepreneurship and small business development (e.g., SBA, EDA, community development grants).

Ability to craft compelling, data-driven proposals that highlight mentorship, training, and business growth impact.

Strong research skills to identify grant opportunities aligned with our mission.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with our program team.
What You’ll Do:

Research and secure grants to fund our LLC Grant Program and other entrepreneurial initiatives.

Develop proposals that showcase our impact and align with funders’ priorities.

Track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.

Help us expand our reach and sustain programs that equip entrepreneurs with tools and resources for success.
