The Texas 1000 Project is looking for a talented Grant Writer with expertise in small business technical assistance and entrepreneurship programs to join our mission of empowering entrepreneurs and creating sustainable businesses across Texas.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in writing successful grant proposals for small business support, technical assistance, and capacity-building programs.

• Familiarity with state, federal, and private grant opportunities related to entrepreneurship and small business development (e.g., SBA, EDA, community development grants).

• Ability to craft compelling, data-driven proposals that highlight mentorship, training, and business growth impact.

• Strong research skills to identify grant opportunities aligned with our mission.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with our program team.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Research and secure grants to fund our LLC Grant Program and other entrepreneurial initiatives.

• Develop proposals that showcase our impact and align with funders’ priorities.

• Track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.

• Help us expand our reach and sustain programs that equip entrepreneurs with tools and resources for success.
